Resource Center
Unlike in past years, the COA no longer offers VHS or DVD players or physical books for borrowing. Instead, we’ve partnered with NEMSCA and Trualta to give you access to a wealth of educational resources, including blogs, guides, and other helpful information. You can create a free account to explore these materials anytime. To access Trualta, please contact Brooke Winowiecki at NEMSCA: WinowieckiB@nemcsa.org.
Adult Day Care
Are you a family caregiver in need of help with personal care services for a family member or a break from your caregiving responsibilities? Adult Day Services are meant to provide respite while you go to work, run errands, do chores, exercise, participate in social activities, and/or just get the rest you need to stay healthy!
They are designed to serve older adults who may require supervision, increased social opportunities, and/or assistance with personal care or other activities of daily living. Most specialize in the care of persons living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
